On October 11, 2024 the RESTART Network hosted the 2024 Virtual National Symposium: Lasting Lessons: Embracing Enduring Shifts in PreK-12 Education Systems featuring the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and the Council of the Great City Schools (CGCS). The symposium included presentations from researchers, school leaders, and policymakers about the enduring changes in PreK-12 education in the wake of the pandemic.
In April 2024, the RESTART Network hosted a two-day in-person forum to discuss accelerating student learning, fostering student connectedness, social emotional learning, and emerging research related to pandemic recovery. The forum brought together researchers, policymakers, leaders, and practitioners from across the country to share their knowledge, perspectives, and experiences.
On October 3, 2023, the RESTART Network hosted the 2023 Virtual National Symposium featuring the National Association of State Boards of Education and the Council of Chief State School Officers. The webinar included presentations from researchers and policy leaders who are leading efforts to advance academic recovery.
