From the brief: "Before educators can attend to students’ learning losses relating to the COVID‑19 pandemic, we must support their mental health and social-emotional needs to ensure they’re ready for rigorous academics. To provide this support, our 6,000-student district dedicated a significant portion of our Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief, or ESSER, funds to enrichment programs — and we see that investment making a difference."
