From the brief: "Following summer 2021, the NCDPI designated a portion of its SEA reserve from ESSER II and ESSER III funds to fund high-quality, evidence-based summer learning and enrichment programs to address the academic impact of lost instructional time as a result of the pandemic and to respond to the educational, social, emotional, and mental health needs of students in K-12."
