The Illinois Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Hubs provide schools and districts with professional development. training, resources, and support for SEL, mental health, and trauma-responsive educational approaches that meet local needs. This includes the Resilience Education to Advance Community Healing (REACH) Initiative. The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) created the SEL Hubs in 2021 and the seven SEL Hubs are housed in six Regional Offices of Education and in Chicago Public Schools."
